We are learning more details about a crash on westbound I-74 that shut down the interstate Friday afternoon.
It happened around 4:40.
Indiana State Police say a semi driven by 69-year-old Harold Downey of Middletown, OH was eastbound on I-74 near the 153 mile marker when he lost control of the vehicle.
The semi went into the median and struck the barrier cable but crossed into the westbound lanes completely blocking westbound I-74.
Downey suffered minor facial injuries and was transported to Margaret Mary Hospital in Batesville.
Westbound I-74 was closed for over an hour while emergency crews and wreckers removed the semi. Eastbound I-74 was limited to one lane and closed for short periods of time as well.
