WALNUT HILLS, OH ( FOX19) - Cincinnati Fire crews were able to quickly extinguish an overnight fire at a five-story storage facility in Walnut Hills.
The fire broke out Monday around 12:45 a.m. Dispatchers said multiple calls reported the fire on Victory Parkway, however firefighters found the blaze at the storage facility in the 1100 block of William Howard Taft.
Authorities say the building was formerly a parking garage, and most recently used to store cars, campers, boats and other vehicles.
Upon arrival, firefighters found a working fire in a storage room on the first floor. It took about 15 minutes to bring the fire under control.
Damage is estimated to at $5,000. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
William Howard Taft was shut down for a couple of hours but reopened just before 3 a.m.
