Police: 2 men rob Speedway gas station in Franklin

FRANKLIN, OH (FOX19) - Franklin Police are searching for two suspects following a robbery at a Speedway gas station.

Police were called to the 1200 block of East Second Street around 2:15 a.m. on Monday morning following reports of a robbery.

Initial investigation revealed that two males entered the store. Police say that one man was brandishing a knife. Authorities say the two suspects fled the gas station with an undetermined amount of cash. Officers say that it is unknown if they left on foot of fled in a vehicle.

The first suspect has been described as a slender man between 5'9" and 5'10". Police say he was wearing a camo-style coat with a hoodie, a bandanna around his face, black gloves and dark pants.

The second suspect was said to be wearing a gray hoodie, short pants and a dark colored bandanna around his face. Police say the man was between 5'6" and 5'7" with a thin build. Authorities say that he may have a tattoo on the lower part of his right leg.
