Twitter has risen to the occasion once again, turning the government shutdown into something both hilarious and creepy. Some tweets are safer for work than others.

It isn't known if any of the new pickup lines have worked yet, though it's hard to imagine they have, especially considering the explicit nature of some of them.
NASA is losing 97 percent of its funding, and I'm losing 97 percent of my inhibitions.
For those looking to take a more direct approach, check out #NoGovernmentNoPants, but take that route at your own peril.
The government might be closed, but we can always caucus at my place.
