(FOX19) - Work to improve the I-71/Pfeiffer Road interchange will require some lane and ramp closures next week.
The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) says the right lane of northbound I-71 from Pfeiffer Road to the Deerfield Road overpass will be closed from Monday, Oct. 7 to Thursday, Oct. 10. The closures will begin at 9 p.m. each night and reopen to traffic by 9 a.m.
At the same time, the ramp from Pfeiffer Road to northbound I-71 will be closed nightly Monday, Oct. 7 through Wednesday, Oct. 9, reopening to traffic by 6 a.m. the following day.
In addition, the right lane of northbound I-71 will be closed Friday, Oct. 11, with closure of the center lane to follow at 10 p.m. All lanes will reopen to traffic by 6 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12.
ODOTS says arrow boards and signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert drivers of the ramp closure.
