FRANKLIN, OH (FOX19) - Police say that five suspects are involved in an armed robbery at a Franklin Speedway gas station.
Police were called to the 1200 block of East Second Street around 2:15 a.m. on Monday morning following reports of a robbery.
Initial investigation revealed that two males entered the store. Police say that one man was brandishing a knife. Authorities say the two suspects fled the gas station with an undetermined amount of cash.
Within 24 hours of the robbery, police say that two adult suspects and on juvenile suspect were arrested. However, officers claim that others were also involved.
Investigation revealed that the Speedway clerk, 21-year-old Bradley Leis, failed to make required money drops in the safe as he worked the night of the robbery. Officers say the two females entered the store the night of the robbery and then left. The girls were driving Leis's car.
Later that night, authorities say that two males entered the store. The two men were seen on video robbing Leis of money from the cash register. The men ran from the store and, police say, were picked up by the two females driving Leis's car.
On Tuesday, police say they observed one of the females involved in front of Leis's apartment. Both Leis and 18-year-old Tamela Parker were arrested for complicity to aggravated robbery.
On Tuesday evening, police say they obtained search warrants for two other men believed to be involved. Authorities say one of the men was only 15 years old. The 15-year-old was found at his house with a small amount of marijuana and cigarettes. He was taken into custody but later released with charges pending.
The second male, 19-year-old Johnny Rhodus, was not located after his house was searched on Fiesta Court in Carlisle, Ohio. Police say that Rhodus turned himself in on Wednesday accompanied by his father and his attorney.
Rhodus is being charged with aggravated robbery and is being held on a $100,000 bond.
Police say that a juvenile girl is still at large.
