Police ID man shot & killed in Bond Hill

BOND HILL, OH (FOX19) -

Police are searching for the suspect after a man was shot and killed Thursday afternoon in Bond Hill.

The shooting was reported around 2:15 p.m. near the intersection of California and Oberlin Avenue. A caller stated the victim was reportedly lying near the intersection and not moving.

Upon arrival, police found 37-year-old Michael Howe on the sidewalk. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said Howe was shot multiple times.

California Avenue was shut down between Paddock and Reading Road as police responded to the scene.

An investigation is ongoing by the Cincinnati Police Department's Homicide Unit. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (513) 352-3040.
