Man arrested in Silverton double shooting

SILVERTON, OH (FOX19) - A man was taken into custody following an overnight double shooting in Silverton.

Officers were called to the 6700 block of Montgomery Road just before 2 a.m. Friday following reports of shots fired near the H.D. Beans and Bottles Cafe.

Upon arrival, police learned two men had been taken to nearby hospitals suffering gunshot wounds.

Neldon Terry, 33, was shot in the arm and Jeron Wilson, 21, was shot in the neck. Authorities say both victims are expected to recover.

Austin Tiernan, of Pleasant Ridge, was later arrested in connection with the shooting.

Tiernan has been charged with two counts of felonious assault, weapons under disability and improperly discharging a weapon into habitation.

He was taken to the Hamilton County Justice Center to await arraignment.
