Deputies say Milan school bus hit by teen driver

RIPLEY COUNTY, IN (FOX19) - The sheriff's office says a Ripley County, Indiana school bus was nearly hit head on by a teen driver.

It happened on Wednesday afternoon in front of 4241 East County Road 500 N, near Milan.

Deputies say the Milan school bus was carrying 19 students when a truck driven by a 17-year-old hit the bus as she was pulling out of her driveway.

None of the students were injured in the crash. Officials say they were loaded onto a second bus to continue their route.

The crash is still under investigation; officers say a citation could be issued.
