CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - It seems like you could pretty much celebrate something every day of the year if you tried.
You know - National Popcorn Day, Cousins Day, Teddy Bear Day, etc.
Well, if there isn't already enough to celebrate in Cincinnati on a Friday, it just so happens to be National Taco Day AND National Vodka Day.
Rocktober begins Friday on Fountain Square. Attendees can enjoy some seasonal beers, entertainment and chances to win Bengals tickets. Archer's Paradox, Founding Fathers and Decker will all be performing live.
The square will be hosting the Sam Adams Oyster Feast on Saturday. Enjoy fried oysters, lobster and smoked oyster macaroni and cheese and oyster gumbo. There's even an oyster speed eating challenge. Mmm, oysters.
Dracula is playing at Washington Park as part of Friday Fright Night. Yikes! Classic horror films will be shown every Friday through October 18. And guess what else? A full bar service available with drink specials, hot cocoa and warm apple cider!
If you're an art fan or just looking for a little creative inspiration head over to 2511 Essex Place for the Essex Studios Art Walk in Walnut Hills. More than 120 artists have oil paintings, sculptures, photography, jewelry and more. Friday and Saturday, 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
It's looking like some great weather for Saturday. Why not check out a local pumpkin farm to get some fall fever. The Kinman Farms Fall Festival is open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through Halloween. Located on Burlington Pike in Boone County, there's a corn maze, barn animals, hayrides, bonfires, a pumpkin patch, face painting and more goodness.
