Power outages reported across Hamilton Co.

HAMILTON, OH - Heavy rains are to blame for several power outages throughout the FOX19 viewing area.

Duke Energy had reported over 2,000 outages in the Hamilton County area as of 6:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.

Over 900 people were without power in Butler County on Saturday night and into Sunday morning. Power has been restored to most of these areas as well.

Duke Energy typically restores customer outages in three hours or less. However, when widespread damage has occurred, outage restoration can take longer.

Customers are encouraged to call 1-800-543-5599 to report outages and get an estimated time of restoration.
