Missing Sheperdsville, Ky. girl found unharmed

Sheperdsville, Ky. (FOX19) - A missing 2-year-old girl has been found safe and her father taken into police custody.

Police canceled an Amber Alert for 2-year-old Jaylynn Maxey from Sheperdsville, Ky.

Maxey was reported missing after she was last seen at 183 Sheperds Parkway in Sheperdsville, Ky. Authorities said she was with her biological father Joshua Yeager and believed to be in danger.

Yeager, 24, is the child's non-custodial parent and also a suspect in a bank robbery near the Sheperdsville area, according to police.

The Amber Alert was canceled just before 1 a.m. Wednesday. Authorities said Maxey had been found unharmed, and Yeager was taken to Hardin Hospital in police custody.
