Frontier adding nonstop flight from CVG to NJ

HEBRON, KY (FOX19) -

You'll soon be able to fly every Monday, Wednesday and Friday directly to Trenton-Mercer Airport, the gateway to New Jersey's state capital as well as metro Philadelphia.

The Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) announced Frontier Airlines is expanding its low-fare service beginning February 12, 2014.

Trenton-Mercer Airport (TTN) to CVG will depart every M/W/F at 2:10 p.m. and arrive at 4:05 p.m.

CVG to TTN will depart every M/W/F at 4:45 p.m. and arrive at 6:25 p.m.

"This is a great day for consumers as we bring a new low-fare, convenient option for residents in the Cincinnati to fly to the east coast," said Daniel Shurz, Frontier's senior vice president, commercial. "Customers who fly from Trenton-Mercer Airport can enjoy a newly upgraded airport with fewer hassles and convenient parking compared with other airports in the region."

In celebration, officials say Frontier will offer fares starting at $39 each way through October 30, 2013.
