(FOX19) - The woman who was shot five times by her soon-to-be ex-husband inside a Ft. Thomas office building is in Atlanta for more treatment.
According to fundraising website YouCaring.com, Alisha Waters in now being treated at Shepherd Center, an Atlanta hospital that specializes in spinal cord and brain injury rehabilitation.
Doctors have told Alisha's family she may never walk again. A video uploaded to YouTube in September showed her moving her arm.
Waters was flown to the hospital on Wednesday. There is no word yet on how long her treatment will last.
Thus far, 1,418 people have signed a petition on Change.org to amend Kentucky's restraining order and stalking laws in her name.
