CLEVELAND, OH (FOX19) - A little boy abducted in Northern Ohio was located in San Antonio, Texas one day after he was reported missing.
Cleveland police say 43-year-old Nehemias Lopez took his 11-year-old son, Jeremy Lopez, from school Thursday afternoon.
Jeremy was last seen when he left Clark Elementary School in Cleveland with his non-custodial parent, Nehemias Lopez.
Police said Nehemias did not have permission to take his son and is not a citizen of the United States. He was believed to be headed towards Cincinnati.
According to WOIO in Cleveland, both were located at the Mexican Consulate in San Antonio. It was verified through the Consulate that Jeremy was in good health.
Authorities also verified Nehemias Lopez filed for custody in Mexico.
This is an ongoing civil matter and will be adjudicated in the Mexican court system.
