The mother of the 4 year old girl killed in Newport by a hit skip driver is demanding the Ohio driver and her passenger face homicide charges. Haley Conway died Saturday near 6th street. The women in the car at the time of the collision left the vehicle and ran. Haley's mother Misty Ewing can't believe the two have not turned themselves in and she can't understand why they're only charged with misdemeanors. 20 year old Keesha Linville and 18 year old Felicia Linville could be charged with more serious crimes if the investigation uncovers more evidence. The Kentucky Commonwealth's Attorney's office in Newport says the investigation is ongoing and that the Linville sisters have shown no signs that they'd return to Kentucky to face charges. For now, until they do, Ohio laws will not allow them to be arrested or extradited. FOX 19 has learned Kentucky Governor Ernie Fletcher could be asked to request Ohio's governor to get involved in the process. Keesha Linville is charged with leaving the scene of an accident, driving without a license, and possession of marijuana. Felicia Linville is charged with possession of marijuana.
