COLLEGE HILL, OH (FOX19) - Two adults are being assisted by Red Cross after their home caught fire in College Hill.
Fire crews received reports of the fire around 3:15 p.m. on Monday afternoon in the 6000 block of Budmar Avenue.
Crews arriving on the scene reported heavy smoke and fire coming from the rear of the building.
Firefighters say that after an aggressive interior attack, they were able to contain the blaze quickly.
"The fire did extend into the attic space. We had to dig it out and check for hotspots, which is what we call an extension," explains Michael Washington, District 3 Fire Chief. "We got the fire under control within 25 or 30 minutes."
Crews say no one was home at the time of the fire. However, two adults have been displaced by the blaze.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
