Barber shops search for mentors for young boys

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Have you ever have the passion to give back to the community or mentor a younger boy? Now is your opportunity.

Three local Cincinnati barber shops are encouraging their clients to volunteer as a Big Brother to a child in the Community.

"You are already a mentor. Whether you're a Big Brother or not, somebody is watching you" Says Terence Daniels, current Big Brother and member of the agency's African American Recruitment Board. He continued to note, "Own up to that responsibility and be a Big Brother. Let's work together to be the right kind of influence to kids in our neighborhoods."

Beginning Tuesday October 15, 2013 through Saturday October 26th, three Cincinnati barber shops will share information about mentoring, while striving to have their clients volunteer as mentors to the children in community.
