2 arrested following Fairfield pediatrics armed robbery

FAIRFIELD, OH (FOX19) - Fairfield Police have arrested two men following an armed robbery at a pediatrics center.

Authorities responded to reports of an armed robbery at Pediatric Associates of Fairfield located in the 5900 block of Boymel Drive. It was reported to police that a masked man with a pistol entered the business demanding prescription medication.

Authorities say that two suspects fled the scene in a black PT Cruiser. Officers say the suspects were located by police in the area of Mercy Hospital on Mack Road. Police say the suspects abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot.

After a brief foot chase, both individuals were arrested without incident.

The suspects have been identified as Mark Baker, 43, and Anthony DeJohn, 57, of Hamilton.

Officers say that the stolen medication and firearm used in the robbery were recovered. No one was injured in the incident.

Police say charges are currently pending.
