Man flown to hospital after tractor flips, pins him underneath

MOSCOW, OH (FOX19) - A man was taken to the hospital Monday evening after he became trapped under his tractor in Moscow, Ohio.

Clermont County Sheriff's deputies were called to the 700 block of Maple Creek Road around 5:45 p.m. for a report of a tractor rollover accident with entrapment.

Upon arrival, emergency crews found 65-year-old Robert Hampton injured after being pinned under the steering wheel of the tractor.

Deputies said he was clearing trees on his property and pulling up a log grade when the log became wedged. This caused the front of the tractor to flip backwards and left Hampton trapped underneath. A relative was able to use another vehicle to pull the tractor off of Hampton prior to emergency crews arriving.

Hampton was flown to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. However, authorities said his injuries did not appear to be life threatening.
