The Christ Hospital "tops off" Joint and Spine Center

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

The Christ Hospital Health Network and Messer Construction Co. raised the final beam into place for The Christ Hospital Joint and Spine Center.

The final beam completes the building's structural steelwork recognized during a "topping off" ceremony Friday morning. The Joint and Spine Center is part of the campus expansion that also includes a new visitor garage, materials management building and main hospital entry.

Opening in summer of 2015, the Joint and Spine Center will be a destination for comprehensive, evidence-based orthopaedic and spine care, education and clinical-outcomes research.

The tower will include 60 all-private patient rooms, 12 operating rooms, physician offices, imaging, rehabilitation and other services.
