CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Former UC basketball coach Bob Huggins returned to Cincinnati on Monday to attend the Hall of Fame Induction ceremony for one of his former players.
Kenyon Martin was one of four players to be inducted into the James P. Kelly Hall of Fame. Martin, who played under the leadership of then head-coach Bob Huggins from 1996 through 2000, was selected first overall in the 2000 NBA Draft.
"I came in a child and I left as a man," explains Martin. "I attribute that to Coach Huggins and him demanding the best out of me."
Also inducted on Monday include Gino Guidudli (football), Ron Stapleton (track/cross country) and Julie DuPont-Fitzgerald (volleyball).
