A teenager has been sentenced to 15-years in prison for causing injuries to a 14-month-old boy she was babysitting.

Alexis Sexton, 19, pleaded guilty in September to injuring Noah Philhower while babysitting on March 26 in Batavia. Sexton was later indicted on April 3 for two counts of felonious assault and child endangering.

Noah Philhower's mother, Victoria Gans, was also indicted for her failure to provide care after he was injured.

In addition, Sexton was formally charged around the same time for a separate child endangering case. Authorities said 2-year-old Cadence Reynolds suffered three fractured fingers, who was also in Sexton's care.

The sentencing was handed down on Tuesday afternoon.
