CLERMONT COUNTY, OH (FOX19) - A teenager has been sentenced to 15-years in prison for causing injuries to a 14-month-old boy she was babysitting.
Alexis Sexton, 19, pleaded guilty in September to injuring Noah Philhower while babysitting on March 26 in Batavia. Sexton was later indicted on April 3 for two counts of felonious assault and child endangering.
In addition, Sexton was formally charged around the same time for a separate child endangering case. Authorities said 2-year-old Cadence Reynolds suffered three fractured fingers, who was also in Sexton's care.
The sentencing was handed down on Tuesday afternoon.
