BMV employee robbed at Taser point, Police search for Maroon vehicle

COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Colerain Township Police are searching for suspects driving a maroon vehicle after a night deposit was stolen from a BMV employee.

Officers say that the robbery occurred on October 15 at a BMV located on the 3200 block of Galbraith Road. Police say the robbery happened around 6:00 p.m. as an employee was walking with the night deposit behind the building.

Authorities say that the victim was approached by a male suspect with a Taser. Officers say that as the suspect held the victim at Taser point, a maroon Mercury Sable circled the area multiple times.

Officers say after taking the deposit, the suspect with the Taser ran to the vehicle. The suspect entered the vehicle and fled the scene. The vehicle has been described as a 2000-2008 Mercury Sable. Police say that the vehicle had a sunroof.

The car was last seen heading east on Lina Place before turning on Colerain Avenue in an unknown direction.
