Aircare called after juvenile struck by vehicle in Symmes Twp.

Chief Deputy Mark A. Schoonover of Hamilton County Sheriff's Office has reported that there was an injury auto crash Saturday afternoon. 

It occurred in the 9200 block Kemper Grove Lane at 12:48 p.m.

A 2008 Audi Q7, operated by Christine Kline, 38-years-old, was traveling northbound on the 9200 block of Kemper Grove Lane. 

As Kline attempted to turn into a residence, her vehicle struck 7-year-old boy of Loveland, Ohio.

The boy was riding on a Razor 3-wheel bike and was traveling southbound on Kemper Grove Lane.

The boy was injured and trapped beneath the vehicle for a short time. He was freed by the Loveland-Symmes fire department. 

The boy was then flown to Cincinnati Children's Hospital by air-care and is currently listed in stable condition. Kline was not injured in the crash.

Alcohol and/or drugs were not factors in the crash. The boy was not wearing any safety equipment at the time of the crash. However, Kline was wearing her safety restraint device at the time of the crash. 

The crash remains under investigation by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office Traffic Safety Unit.
