A man was arrested early Saturday morning following a police pursuit and subsequent crash in Monroe.
Lebanon Police attempted to stop a driver just before 2 a.m. for several traffic violations near the intersection of State Route 63 and 48.
Authorities said driver
refused to stop and took off westbound on State Route 63 continuing into Monroe. The vehicle eventually crashed into a
pole at the intersection of State Route 63 and Corridor Park Drive.
The driver, Adam Ruth of West Chester, was arrested and charged with OVI, operating with a suspended license and failure to comply with a lawful order of a police officer.
He's currently being held in the Warren County Jail.
Ruth's passenger, Heather Duttweiler, also of West Chester, was
released and taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
