GREEN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - The Oak Hills Local School District passed a $4.82 million operating levy on Tuesday.
The district says the levy will generate $5.2 million in operating money over the next five years.
It would also cost a homeowner of a $100,000 home approximately $14.06 extra per month.
This isn't the levy's first time on the ballots; voters already shot down a levy in the district last May. As a result, administrators had to find cuts totaling $3.6 million.
It's been 16 years since Oak Hills has had a levy, and there are also several voters this time around in opposition.
