Thousands of people lost power in the city of Hamilton early Wednesday morning.
Hamilton has their own power system. According to officials, the city separated from the grid around 3:15 a.m.
According to Hamilton's Twitter account, power was restored to 85% of customers soon after the outage, and all customers regained power within a couple hours.
Officials said the line that caused the separation from the grid was isolated, and crews are now investigating the exact cause.
