TROY, AL (WSFA) -

Three people are under arrest and charged with manufacturing meth, says Troy Police Chief Jimmy Ennis. The arrested were made at a home in the 100 Block of Watkins Court Wednesday afternoon.

Troy Police Narcotics Investigators went to the house around 1:30 p.m. to serve a Grand Jury indictment on 47-year-old Randy Tolbert for Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance, but when they met him, they say he was in the process of making meth.

Two other people, 24-year-old Enterprise resident Nicholas Michael Wilson and an unnamed 18-year-old female Troy resident, were also with Tolbert. Police believe both were taking an active role in the meth-making process.

Each was arrested and charged with making and trafficking the drug. Tolbert was also charged with one count of Distribution of a Controlled Substance from the Grand Jury Indictment.

Wilson was also charged with one felony count of Giving False Information to an Law Enforcement officer to avoid arrest and a misdemeanor count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia from an out-standing Allis warrant with the Troy Municipal Court.

All three subjects were processed at the Troy City Jail and Transported to the Pike County Jail.

Tolbert's total bond was set at $160,000. Wilson's was set at $153,000 and the female is being held on a bond of $150,000.

Police say the 18-year-old female's name is not being released because  she is eligible for youthful offender status.
