CLEVES, OH (FOX19) - The Hamilton County Sheriff's Department's bomb squad was called in after a suspicious note was left on a vehicle outside of a Cleves restaurant Friday night.
The note was found on an SUV parked outside Skyline Chili stating there was a bomb under the car which would go off in seconds. The restaurant is located at 250 South Miami Avenue.
Police and fire responded, and they called in the bomb squad. The squad members used two different robots and an officer wearing a protective suit to explore the SUV. One of the robots delicately removed a women's tote bag from the SUV, but no explosives were found in the bag or anywhere else on the vehicle.
The restaurant and a neighboring business were evacuated just after 10 p.m. as emergency crews investigated.
