Funeral arrangements made for Sycamore Twp. firefighter

SYCAMORE TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

Funeral arrangements have been made for Sycamore Twp. Fire Lt. Mike Hill on Monday, November 11.

Hill passed away following his firehouse shift from what has been called a sudden cardiac event. 

Hill's passing is being treated as and considered to be a Line of Duty Death.

Hill was a professional fire fighter for over 15 years with the Sycamore Fire Department and he was a proud member of IAFF Local 3907.

Mike leaves behind his wife, two young children and three step-children, as well as his family of fire fighters throughout the Greater Cincinnati Area.

According to the Sycamore Twp. Fire Fighters Association, Mike was a leader on and off the job as well as being a remarkable friend. 

The funeral will take place Monday, November 11 at the Reading Field House on West St. The visitation will be from 10 am. to p.m. with the service immediately following.

After the service concludes, a procession will ensue to the Reading Cemetery for a graveside service.

A reception in Mike's honor will be hosted at Foley's following the graveside service.
