Police have arrested two men responsible for more than 11 burglaries in the Northern KY area.
John Kelley and Stuart McCarthy are accused of robbing vacant homes in Kenton, Boone and Campbell counties. The men are charged with 11 counts of second degree burglary and first degree criminal mischief in Kenton County.
The pair were arrested this evening after police identified a vehicle that had fled the scene of a Boone County robbery days earlier. After being pulled over in the suspected car, detectives were able to connect Kelley and Stuart to the string of burglaries in Kenton County.
Authorities indicate that Kelley and McCarthy may also be responsible for burglaries in Pendleton and Grant Counties and that more charges are likely to follow.
