FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - A 21-year-old man is in critical condition after being stabbed multiple times during a group altercation in Clermont County.
Officers received calls around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday after a bleeding man showed up at a Franklin Township residence. Police were alerted of a man with blood on his hands and blood coming from his mouth who approached the residence, located in the 3700 block of Dunbar Road.
A few minutes later, police received reports of a stabbing at a nearby home in the 400 block of Felicity Cedron Rural Road. Officers responded to both residences.
Upon arrival at the Dunbar Road residence, officers made contact with Jeffrey Reynolds Jr. Reynolds told police that he was assaulted by a group of individuals. Reynolds told officers that he stabbed one of the men assaulting him.
Officers arriving on the scene of the Felicity Cedron residence found a victim stabbed multiple times in the basement of the residence. Police say that the victim, identified as 21-year-old Dylan Farris, was stabbed in the chest, leg, back and head. Witnesses on the scene tell officers that the Farris was stabbed multiple times during a group altercation in the driveway of the residence.
Farris, of Bethel, Ohio, was flown to University Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
After receiving multiple statements from witnesses, police arrested Jeffrey Reynolds. Reynolds has been charged with felonious assault.
He is set to appear in court on Monday at 9:00 a.m.
