Police search for suspect in green car following Avondale shooting

AVONDALE, OH (FOX19) -

Police are searching for a suspect in a green vehicle following a shooting in Avondale. 

Officers say that the victim was shot around 4:00 p.m. on Monday afternoon in the 300 block of Rockdale Avenue. Authorities say that the victim was shot in the arm in the hallway of an apartment building. 

The victim has been transported to UC Medical Center. There has been no word on the extent of the victim's injuries.

Officers say that the suspect fled the scene down Burnet to Erkenbrecher Avenue in a green car. Police are actively searching for the suspect.
