CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A downtown Cincinnati nightclub accused of unsafe and unsanitary conditions and illegally operating a sexually-oriented business has been shut down for at least a year.
The city filed paperwork seeking an injunction to close the bar alleging there has been open drug use inside the venue, insects in liquor bottles, shots fired outside as well as nude dancers.
Following an undercover investigation, the city stated officers witnessed "nude, and semi-nude dancing." They say in August, fights were breaking out, and "shots were fired from a vehicle."
Plus, they claim drug use was open with "individuals openly smoking marijuana."
Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas Judge Melba Marsh granted the city's motion for a temporary restraining order on Tuesday.
