Rantankerous [ran-tank'uhr-us] (adjective) - A combination of rant [to speak in a wild or extravagant manner] and cantankerous [contentious, disagreeable]. The word is a creation of the Raycom Digital Hub staff and the only suitable description for the epic arguments between Brian "What We Learned" Tynes and George "Hot Reads" Jones, which until now have never been recorded.

(RNN) - Despite what you may have heard, no, we were not the guys cast to play "Sidney Deane" and "Billy Hoyle" in White Men Can't Jump.

That honor went to Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson. But maybe if we had better agents or had been out of elementary school at the time, things would be different.

Our disappointment didn't stop us from becoming fans of great sports films. Like most fans, we have strong opinions about which ones are the best, and we found out other people can be just as loud with their opinions.

Also this week:

Since Stanford exposed Oregon, what does that mean for the rest of the teams behind Alabama in the BCS? What were the Braves thinking when they decided to relocate to a new stadium outside Atlanta?

Include great movies we missed and other thoughts in the comments section below.
