Klosterman 'Pink Loaves' benefit Pink Ribbon Girls

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Klosterman Baking Company, a family-owned bakery headquartered in Cincinnati, donated $10,000 raised in a six week campaign to The Pink Ribbon Girls.

The Pink Ribbon Girls is an outreach mission aiming to provide breast cancer awareness to young women. The non-profit hopes to launch new educational and support initiatives with the donation to expand young women's knowledge on breast cancer.

Klosterman sold 'Pink Loaves' at area grocery stores in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

"It is great to see companies, such as Klosterman, get involved with important causes like this and we were thrilled to continue our partnership with them again this year," shared Tracie Metzger, Founder and Director of Development for The Pink Ribbon Girls. "Support like this is vital to expanding our efforts and reaching the younger community of women that need education on Breast Cancer Awareness."

For women in the United States, death rates from breast cancer are higher than any other cancer and one in eight women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime.
