Cranley picks David Mann as his vice mayor

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Cincinnati mayor-elect John Cranley announced Monday his vice mayor will be longtime politician David Mann.

Mann previously served on Cincinnati City Council for 18 years, including three years at mayor. In 1993, he was elected to the 103rd Congress as the representative from Ohio's 1st Congressional District.

After twenty years, Mann was re-elected to Cincinnati City Council in the November election. Mann (D), Kevin Flynn (I) and Amy Murray (R) will be the new additions, joined by six others returning to council.

He currently practices law with his son, Michael, in the firm Mann & Mann. Cranley announced his choice for vice mayor at their law office downtown.

Cranley and nine city council members will be sworn in on Sunday, Dec. 1.
