Shelter provides Thanksgiving food for over 8,000 on first day

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - During its first day of Thanksgiving Holiday Food Distribution, the Freestore Foodbank provided food for a holiday meal to over 8,000 individuals.

Between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m., the shelter provided boxes of food to help 3,187 households, totaling 8,037 individuals.

Freestore Foodbank continues its efforts through Wednesday. The shelter will open its doors from 8 a.m. through 7 p.m. on Tuesday and between 8 a.m. and noon on Wednesday.
