Auditor Dusty Rhodes has announced that Hamilton County dog licenses for 2014 will go on sale December 1, 2013.
The renewal mailing will go out on Wednesday, November 27, 2013.
This year, for the first time, three-year licenses and permanent licenses are available for your dog(s) in addition to the traditional one-year license.
A one-year license, purchased before the January 31, 2014 deadline, is $19.00. The three-year license is $57.00 and the permanent license is $190.00. Licenses purchased after the deadline are subject to penalties.
One year, three year, permanent and kennel licenses may all be purchased or renewed at the Hamilton County Auditor's Office, Room 304 of the County Administration Building, 138 E. Court Street, Cincinnati, 45202, or through the mail.
Additionally, one year dog licenses and kennel licenses may be purchased or renewed online.
There is a convenience fee of $2.00 per license for online purchasing which goes to the vendor. And one year dog licenses are also available from our neighborhood agents. There is an agent fee of 75 cents per license to buy your license(s) this way.
