Lone gunman robs US Bank in Hyde Park

HYDE PARK, OH (FOX19) - Police are searching for an armed suspect after the US Bank was robbed Wednesday morning in Hyde Park.

It was reported around 9:15 a.m. in the 3400 block of Edwards Road, which is a block south of Hyde Park Square. A male suspect entered the rear door of the bank, showed the teller a handgun and demanded money.

Police say after receiving an undetermined amount of cash, the man fled through the back of the bank in an unknown direction.

He was wearing a baseball hat, large sunglasses, a white hooded sweatshirt, white shirt, dark dress pants and dark dress shoes.
