CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Approximately 2.4 million Americans are traveling by air this Thanksgiving and with weather in the northeast looking to be potentially snowy, airlines are taking extra precautions.
Typically, it can cost $100- $300 to simply change a flight, but some airlines are foregoing that policy in the traveler's favor. Major airlines such as Delta are letting customers change flights without fees and are also offering refunds if flights are significantly delayed or canceled.
As of this morning, CVG only had eight flight cancellations, three to Chicago and five to Philly. Over 7000 people are expected to make their way through CVG today.
