CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Two crews responded to a fire in an apartment building on Central Ave Sunday around 10:50 p.m.
The 15-story building had heavy smoke showing when crews arrived and decided to call for backup. Over 40 firefighters were on the scene to control the fire that started in a trash compactor. The crews were able to put out the fire in under ten minutes.
Occupants exited the building safely and there are no reported injuries. Damage to the building is estimated at $15,000.
