Police are attempting to identify the suspect in a Speedway armed robbery early Tuesday morning in Fort Wright.
It was reported around 2:20 a.m. at the gas station located at 3395 Madison Pike. According to the police report, a man entered the Speedway and pointed a gun at a customer telling him to get down on the ground. Police say he then pointed the gun at the clerk and demanded money from the register.
The suspect then pointed the gun at the customer's head and stole his money, as well.
Police say the man fled on foot when another customer entered the store. A police K9 unit tracked the suspect to the area of Alexandria Drive and possibly a blue, older model Chevrolet Corsica.
The suspect is described as a black male, age 25-30, approximately 5'8''-5'11'' tall with a slim-medium build. He was wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt, blue jeans, black shoes, dark sunglasses, a black glove with white stripes on his left hand and nothing on the right hand.
