Sketch released of Norwood murder suspect

NORWOOD, OH (FOX19) - Investigators released the composite sketch of a suspect wanted in connection with an unsolved murder in Norwood.

Porshia Lynn Brooks, 20, was shot in the head on Nov. 16 in the 5200 block of Carthage Avenue and later died from her injuries. Aron Martin, 21, was also shot that night and was transported to UC Medical Center in critical condition.

The Norwood Criminal Investigative Section previously released surveillance video in an attempt identify three individuals seen in the background of the video walking towards the scene. There was no other description of anyone involved.

On Thursday, a composite sketch was released of a black male suspect between 21 to 25-years-old. Police say the man is approximately 5'9'' tall, 175 pounds with a thin build. His complexion is caramel in color with a beard and hair braided in cornrows.

Police called the shooting a case of "being in the wrong place at the wrong time."
