CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Police say impairment appears to be a factor in a single-vehicle crash that sent four people to the hospital

Officers say that the accident happened around 2:05 p.m. on Friday afternoon near mile marker 5.3.

Police say that 48-year-old Annette Baugh was driving a 1998 Ford Taurus station wagon northbound on the highway when she lost control of her vehicle. Officers say the vehicle struck a barrier wall.

Baugh was transported to the UC Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries and is listed in stable condition.

The front seat passenger, identified as 33-year-old Justin Beekman, was trapped in the vehicle and extricated by the Cincinnati Fire Department. Beekman was transported to UC Medical Center where he is listed in critical condition.

Two passengers in the rear of the vehicle, identified as 32-year-old Courtney Sanchez and a male juvenile, were transported to UC Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Speed is not a factor. However, police believe impairment is a factor in the crash.
