LEBANON, OH (FOX19) -

Pastor Lawrence Bishop II of Solid Rock Church announced last week that he will ride and tame a wild horse during his sermon this evening.

According to the church, the stunt is a part of a series entitled "Conquer the Beast" an encouragement to the congregation to "overcome the adversities in life by living in submission to Jesus Christ."

The planned service, at 7 p.m., includes removing the pews from the 1800 seat sanctuary, covering the floor with plastic, and filling the covered area with dirt for the horse-taming "arena."

Former Baltimore Ravens offensive lineman Bobbie Williams will also be speaking. The church claims that tonight's service is an opportunity to introduce people to church that otherwise may never attend.

Solid Rock Church is located in Lebonon and is famous for it's 50-foot statue of Jesus that can be seen from I-75.
