Green Twp. gas station robbed at knife point

GREEN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Police are searching for a knife-wielding suspect following a robbery at a Green Township gas station.

Officers say that the robbery happened just after 9:00 p.m. on Monday night in the 6500 block of Glenway Avenue.

Police say that the suspect entered the store and began to make a purchase. As the clerk opened the cash drawer, the suspect brandished a knife and demanded money. The clerk gave the suspect an unknown amount of cash.

The suspect last seen fleeing the scene in a black 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

The suspect has been described as being around between 20 and 30 years old, wearing a black jacket, a black baseball hat, gray sweatpants, blue and black Nike gym shoes and a beard.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact police.
