Missing Blanchester teen found safe in AZ

BLANCHESTER, OH (FOX19) - A teen that was reported missing in Blanchester has been located safe with his mother in Arizona.

Police say Devin Moore, 17, of Willow Drive, left his home on December 9 after an argument with his father. Devin is a student at Laurel Oaks vocational school  in Wilmington and works as a bagger at the Blanchester Kroger store.

His father didn't report him missing until late Monday afternoon, police said.

Police at the time said Devin might have been traveling to visit his mother -- Shawnda Hibbs.

After sending an email to Hibbs, both Moore and Hibbs called police to let them know that the teen was safe with her in Apache Junction, AZ.

Officers are still investigating to see if any custody laws were broken.
